Did youenjoy the winter blog hop and find lots of goodies???? I was so EXCITED about it, I forgot to announce the WINNER of my ‘Tis the Season GIVEAWAY. Congratulations Kelli Jean! Check your email. It has been awhile since I blogged, so be prepared – I have a lot of pictures.
Here are a few pics of my ‘Tis the Season Math. The kids LOVED the subitizing trees. I still think the Elfs are adorable.
My kids had a blast with the fireplace literacy centers. There are 6 different CVC word patterns on tyhis one. I forgot to take pictures of the Sleigh Full of Sight Words Center. That was the cutest.
Speaking of Fireplaces, my amazing EA made this one for me. It is on the back of a book shelf. After Christmas, I want to look for some stocking on sale to hang on there for counting.
We made the Christmas tree ornaments. They were pretty simple. The kids painted three craft sticks green and a half stick brown. After they dried, I hot glued it to make the tree. Then they put their picture in the middle (Yes, that’s my horrible school picture). The students added glitter for the ornaments.
For the cards, I pre-cut the glitter paper. The bottom strip is 6 inches, the next one in 5 inches and so forth. I had wanted to add a star to the top, but they came out so big, I decided to skip it.
