Are you looking for some fabulous Thanksgiving Ideas? I have some fun centers and crafts (and maybe a freebie for you).
Matching upper and lower case letters is a great skill for kids. Helping the turkey find his pumpkin is a fun way for kids to practice this skills.
Do you do word sorts with your kids? This Thanksgiving center is adorable. You class will love it. You high kids can write the words for an added challenge.
I added the same sight words to my sensory bin. This sensory bin has bird seed, leaves, and hay. I also added plastic letters for students to build the words. You could also put the letter pumpkins above in it instead of the sight word cards. Or, you could do both.
This another one of my first creations –Turkey Craft and Games Decomposing 10. This one got a makeover two years ago. The craft is a MILLION times cuter.
There is a turkey game where kids can decompose 5 and decompose 10. Each turkey has a number sentence and students add the correct number of feather. Then, they can record their answer on the recording sheet.
